{"id":61801,"date":"2014-02-06T02:23:06","date_gmt":"2014-02-06T00:23:06","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/mygaming.co.za\/news\/?p=61801"},"modified":"2014-02-06T02:24:35","modified_gmt":"2014-02-06T00:24:35","slug":"borderlands-2-mad-moxxi-and-the-wedding-day-massacre","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mygaming.co.za\/news\/business\/61801-borderlands-2-mad-moxxi-and-the-wedding-day-massacre","title":{"rendered":"Borderlands 2: Mad Moxxi and the Wedding Day Massacre"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Just when you thought Gearbox had squeezed the life out their 2012 FPS smash hit Borderlands 2, well think again.<\/p>\n<p>Gearbox has announced a new Valentines themed DLC dubbed Mad Moxxi and the Wedding Day Massacre.<\/p>\n<p>This revisits the feud between Borderlands 2&#8217;s Hoduck and Zaford families, who are the feuding families that you meet during the mission &#8220;Clan War&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p>In the DLC, the family&#8217;s Goliaths are planning to wed and Moxxi sends the vault hunters on a scavenger hunt for ingredients to create a love potion to make sure this all goes down well.<\/p>\n<p>Mad Moxxi and the Wedding Day Massacre will release on 11 February. The official description goes like this:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>Mad Moxxi and the Wedding Day Massacre was inspired by one of our favorite holidays and is full of love and cuddles, but with a Borderlands twist. This add-on features the return of Innuendo Bot 5000 and its creator, Mad Moxxi, as they try to bring two rival clans together with the help of the Vault Hunters. They think love and understanding will bring peace to the clans, but as you know, things don\u2019t always work out the way you\u2019d hope on Pandora \u2013 especially when it involves the Hodunks and the Zafords. Ellie also makes an appearance and tries to help out too, but she isn\u2019t very keen on keeping things civil.<\/p>\n<p>Fret not, though \u2013 you can at least bring joy to a couple of new robot characters in love with each other. When you first encounter these characters, you\u2019ll have to work to bring them together because they can\u2019t muster up the courage to confess their love on their own. During all this match-making, you\u2019ll have to keep an eye out for Threshers, especially the ones that live in The Rainbrew Room as they may be swimming in\u2026 let\u2019s just call it \u201cthe left-over distillery products\u201d.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Gearbox also confirmed that along with the new DLC there will also be fifth Headhunter pack, Sir Hammerlock and the Son of Crawmerax, which will be releasing in April.
