Team17 has announced their first nex-gen console project, and it is of course a Worms title.<\/p>\n
Worms Battlegrounds will be heading toPS4 and Xbox One in 2014, with no mention of other platforms.<\/p>\n
Worms Battlegrounds will be one of the first titles to be self-published on the Xbox One under the ID@Xbox program, of which Team17 is one of the ambassadors.<\/p>\n
No other information has been revealed at this stage.<\/p>\n
I’m willing to bet that everyone likes a good game of Worms, but the series is getting a bit tired now – it will be interesting to see how Team17 tries to break the mould on this one.<\/p>\n
Of late, Worms games seem to have been going through the motions, with a few lacklustre 3D outings and spin-offs in weird directions such as golf and pinball.<\/p>\n
Perhaps a combination of everything they have come up with until now, wrapped in a nice next-gen graphical package will bring the series back to its glory.<\/p>\n
