11 Bit Studios has announced that their science fiction “tower offence” game will be hitting PS4 this spring (autumn in SA). A price was not announced.<\/p>\n
The game first launched on PC (Windows, Linux, Mac) in May 2013, and is currently available for $15.00.<\/p>\n

If you have played our first instalment of Anomaly series you know what\u2019s up. If you\u2019re new then please let me explain what the Anomaly series is about and what its original features are. Anomaly Warzone Earth was the very first tactical reversed tower defence game in the world \u2013 you controlled not the towers (aliens) but the attackers (human forces) and defended Earth.<\/p>\n
In AWE\u2019s sequel you\u2019re again playing as Commander, controlling him on the battlefield and supporting the units in your convoy through four special abilities which you deploy during the missions.<\/p>\n
The very first ability available to you is Repair which is basically an Area of Effect healing. Next we have Decoy \u2013 an ability that baits aliens\u2019 towers to attack the decoy and not the troops.<\/p>\n
The third skill in your arsenal is EMP, which briefly stuns towers which will not activate again if not attacked. Last but not least is AIM, a skill that doubles the damage of your troops; it\u2019s used to destroy the high priority targets.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
Anomaly 2 will include access to the prelude and 14 missions, it also features an improved engine and music created by Piotr Musial. Watch out for this one when it drops shortly.<\/p>\n
