Sony has listed Ubisoft’s Watch Dogs on the PlayStation Store<\/a> with a 30 June 2014 launch date. The page has since been taken offline.<\/p>\n

This is in line (only just) with Ubisoft’s previous time frame<\/a> of during the April – June quarter. Watch Dogs is heading to PS4, PS3, Xbox One, Xbox 360, and Windows PC. The Nintendo Wii U version will be getting a later release.<\/p>\n

This is probably a place-holder date for the game. Ubisoft has not responded to requests for comment on Sony’s listing.<\/p>\n

The (new) confirmed launch date of Watch Dogs is expected to be announced via an advertised trailer which has yet to be released.<\/p>\n

Watch Dogs is poised to be Ubisoft’s next ground-breaking IP, featuring all manner of open-world hacking exploits in a lovingly crafted futuristic Chicago.<\/p>\n

A lot is riding on the success of the open-world hacktion-adventure game, which was delayed from its previous November 2013 launch, harming Ubisoft’s financial results and worrying investors at the time. Ubisoft said that the game needed more polish.<\/p>\n
