Only 1 in 3 players do"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>According to\u00a0Riot Games&#8217; narrative Lead Tom Abernathy and Microsoft Game Studios&#8217; design lead Richard Rouse III, only around a third of gamers complete the games they start.<\/p>\n<p>The pair revealed the statistic at GDC 2014, based on their examination of achievements for titles on Steam, adding the average completion rate for games often sits at 50% or lower.<\/p>\n<p>Below are some of the titles&#8217; completion rates based on their Steam research.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The Walking Dead: Season 1, Episode 1 &#8211; 66%<\/li>\n<li>Mass Effect 2 &#8211; 56%<\/li>\n<li>BioShock Infinite &#8211; 53%<\/li>\n<li>Batman: Arkham City &#8211; 47%<\/li>\n<li>Portal &#8211; 47%<\/li>\n<li>Mass Effect 3 &#8211; 42%<\/li>\n<li>The Walking Dead: Season 1, Episode 5 &#8211; 39%<\/li>\n<li>The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim &#8211; 32%<\/li>\n<li>Borderlands 2 &#8211; 30%<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>As you can see, the games range from long epics, to relatively short, plot driven titles &#8211; most of which don&#8217;t break the 50% mark.<\/p>\n<p>Do you always finish the games you buy?
