This year’s Assassin’s Creed will apparently be set in 18th century Paris, according to leaked screenshots of the upcoming title.<\/p>\n
The Parisian screenshots, obtained from an anonymous source by Kotaku, show an early in-development version of the game, and features Notre Dame and the Seine river.<\/p>\n
The game is dubbed “Assassin’s Creed Unity”, though it is not clear if this is the actual title or a codename.<\/p>\n
The screenshots also show buttons mapped to ‘parkour up’ and ‘parkour down’, which is said to be a new feature to be introduced this year.<\/p>\n
Reports also suggest that there will be different version of Assassin’s Creed this year for both current-gen – Xbox One and PS4 – and last-gen machines.<\/p>\n
If true, it would mean that this year’s Assassin’s Creed would not be designed as a cross-generational title like last year’s Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag.<\/p>\n
