The reviews are out for our game of the year – Goat Simulator.<\/p>\n
We gave the game a lot of coverage due to the sheer bizarreness of the title from Coffee Stain Studios and now the question becomes; is it a great publicity stunt or can it hold its own as a legitimate game?<\/p>\n
The game is sitting on 67% on Metacritic<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0at the time of publication with\u00a0all reviews for PC. Have a read below to see what the reviewers think.<\/p>\n It’s rough around the edges, and amuses only for a short but sweet time, which may lead some to look askance at the price tag. Yet there are plenty of games which cost more and entertain far less, so while Goat Simulator is a joke, it’s at least one in which the player is a willing participant. No kidding.<\/p>\n Goat Simulator allows you to jetpack into a petrol station. As a goat. There’s nothing more I can say that could possibly sell (or not sell) you on Goat Simulator. It is absurd, it is moronic, but it is also a ton of fun. Truly, gaming has finally found its Citizen Kane.<\/p>\n As a joke, as a piece of interactive comedy,\u00a0Goat Simulator\u00a0is an undoubted success. The sheer concept is damn funny, and as you see everything for the first time, it’s hard not to let a big grin spread across your face.
