If you were thinking about going to watch Dota 2 International 2014, I have some bad news – the tickets are sold out. In fact, all 10,000 were sold out within an hour of going on sale, according to Valve’s\u00a0Doug Lombardi.<\/p>\n

Opportunistic ticket holders are already reselling their precious commodities on eBay<\/a>, with general admission tickets available for $200 (around R2,100) – twice the original selling price. Original floor seating tickets sold for $199 (R2,090), while VIP tickets were $499 (R5,200).<\/p>\n

The\u00a0Dota 2\u00a0<\/em>International 2014 will take place at the Key Arena in Seattle from 18 – 21 July. This is the International’s fourth year in existence, with last year’s International boasting a prize pool of\u00a0$2.8 million (R29.5 million). This year’s prize money has not been finalised.<\/p>\n
