Details about Microsoft’s pre-E3 launch of Project Natal<\/span> Kinect<\/a> are slowly making their way online,  here are a few interesting details making news on the Web.  <\/p>\n

Kinectimals unlocked with plushies<\/strong><\/p>\n

Upon leaving the Kinect event, journalists were handed plush animals with conspicuous code blocks around their necks. Joystiq reports<\/a> that these codes are scanned by the Kinect which then unlocks the relevant animal in Kinectimals, a pet sim.<\/p>\n

The developer of Kinectimals hasn’t been disclosed, but Engadget says<\/a> the in-game style looks suspiciously similar to another Project Natal development from Lionhead Studios originally called Milo.<\/p>\n

Objects might be even smaller than they appear<\/strong><\/p>\n

A first glimpse of the photos by the general public had people concerned about the size of the device, so Gizmodo posted an image to show its size relative to an Xbox controller.<\/p>\n

Staged videos<\/strong><\/p>\n

One very interesting video to hit the airwaves is a soundless video from Kotaku<\/a> of a demo of the as yet unnamed Star Wars game that was showcased.<\/p>\n

Another noteworthy video is from Engadget<\/a> showing a “family” enjoying the Kinect’s features.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Since no pricing information for the peripheral or the games associated with it were announced the rumour mill is still churning on those points. Edge Online reports<\/a> that their “highly placed retail source” has told them that Kinect games will be cheaper than normal Xbox 360 titles. While they provide British pricing (£29.99 for Kinect Sports), it gives an indication of what prices we can expect.<\/p>\n
