{"id":63759,"date":"2014-04-25T14:35:16","date_gmt":"2014-04-25T12:35:16","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/mygaming.co.za\/news\/?p=63759"},"modified":"2014-04-25T14:36:56","modified_gmt":"2014-04-25T12:36:56","slug":"dark-souls-2-pc-performance-issues-pop-up","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mygaming.co.za\/news\/business\/63759-dark-souls-2-pc-performance-issues-pop-up","title":{"rendered":"Dark Souls 2 PC performance issues pop up"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Dark Souls 2 for PC was released (digitally) today, 25 April 2014, and already there are performance issues popping up in the game.<\/p>\n<p>Publisher Bandai Namco is working\u00a0on\u00a0fixing the bugs, which are detailed on a <a href=\"http:\/\/steamcommunity.com\/app\/236430\/discussions\/0\/558754259718155271\/\" target=\"_blank\">Steam support thread<\/a>, and have asked gamers to <a href=\"https:\/\/steamcommunity.com\/linkfilter\/http:\/\/www.bandainamcogames.co.uk\/support\" target=\"_blank\">contact the company<\/a> if the problems persist.<\/p>\n<p>The current issues are:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Game crashes upon start-up;<\/li>\n<li>Previously VAC banned players are unable to play online in Dark Souls II;<\/li>\n<li>The game does\u00a0recognise or take input from a controller;<\/li>\n<li>Players having issues with keyboard and mouse controls;<\/li>\n<li>Players cannot locate their pre-order\u00a0bonuses.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The retail version of Dark Souls 2 for PC will be released on 2 May 2014.<\/p>\n<p>Any of you Dark Souls 2 players experiencing these issues?
