{"id":6406,"date":"2010-06-17T04:27:00","date_gmt":"2010-06-17T02:27:00","guid":{"rendered":""},"modified":"-0001-11-30T00:00:00","modified_gmt":"-0001-11-29T22:00:00","slug":"twisted-metal-ps3-bound","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mygaming.co.za\/news\/playstation\/6406-twisted-metal-ps3-bound","title":{"rendered":"Twisted Metal PS3 bound"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>In-case you missed our full round up of <a href=\"http:\/\/www.mygaming.co.za\/news\/news\/6394-Sony-Keynote-Wrap.html\" target=\"_self\">Sony&rsquo;s E3 keynote address<\/a>, they announced a new Twisted Metal game for PS3.<\/p>\n<p>Series creator David Jaffe took the stage during Sony&rsquo;s presentation, following a reveal trailer featuring the franchise&rsquo;s sycotic clowns and signature over the top automobile bound arcade action.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>It has been ten years since we saw a Twisted Metal game, and a PS3 version feels well overdue. Jaffe managed to pull together the majority of the series&rsquo; original development team, and plans to develop a truly worthy sequel to one of Sony&rsquo;s most successful early franchises.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Players will be able to battle it out using a variety of vehicles, including cars, bikes and helicopters. A wide range of weapons will also be on hand, from sniper rifles to chain saws.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The multiplayer is looking promising, and a number of its modes are playable at E3.
