Far Cry 4 will be released for PS4, PS3, Xbox One, Xbox 360, and PC on 20 November 2014. Ubisoft made the announcement as part of their 2014 financial results presentation.<\/a><\/p>\n

“Taking a sharp turn away from the lush island jungles of the top-rated Far Cry 3, Far Cry 4 is set in Kyrat, an untamed region currently ruled by a despotic self-appointed king. But don\u2019t be lulled into a false sense of security by the achingly beautiful views; Kyrat is a wild land full of perils. Once again, players will be able to craft their own stories as they travel through this exotic open world teeming with wildlife \u2013 using their wits along with an assortment of powerful weapons and diverse vehicles,” said Ubisoft on their\u00a0blog<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Ubisoft hope Far Cry 4 will “follow the success” of Far Cry 3, and become one of the top 10 selling games over the next financial year.<\/p>\n

Hurk, the Far Cry 3 nut job, will return in the Limited Edition of Far Cry 4 – which gamers will be upgraded to if they pre-order the game – in a series of three single-player missions.<\/p>\n

Development of Far Cry 4 is being led by Ubisoft Montreal in collaboration with Red Storm Entertainment, Ubisoft Toronto, Ubisoft Shanghai, and Ubisoft Kiev.<\/p>\n
