Following Ubisoft’s\u00a0announcement of a release date for Far Cry 4<\/a>, 343 Industries\u00a0have shown us their big title hand and revealed that Halo 5 will be touching down in Q3 of 2015.<\/p>\n

The game will be titled Halo 5: Guardians, and according to the developers, it will be bigger and better than Halo 4.<\/p>\n

“Halo 5: Guardians is a bigger effort than Halo 4.\u00a0That applies to the content and scope of the game, as well as the technology in what\u2019s now a brand new and more powerful engine. We\u2019ve invested a huge effort in retooling our tech to take full advantage of the Xbox One\u2019s hardware and ecosystem to create worlds and experiences worthy of next-gen,” said 343\u00a0general manager Bonnie Ross.<\/p>\n

A first in the series is Halo receiving a subtitle, in this case: Guardians. The Halo series has never featured one before, and may signal an intent to change the direction of Master Chief’s journey.<\/p>\n
