Microsoft’s Xbox Director of Programming Larry Hryb (a.k.a Major Nelson) has hinted that drivers to enable usage of the Xbox One controller on a Windows PC will be launched “Soon. Very soon.”<\/p>\n
Hryb was lurking over on the NeoGAF forums<\/a> when he replied to a user posing the question.<\/p>\n Back in August 2013, Microsoft said that Xbox One controller PC support would be coming sometime in 2014.<\/p>\n \u201cThere is some work that we need to do to make sure that existing PC games that support the Xbox 360 controller will work with the Xbox One controller,\u201d a Microsoft spokesperson said at the time.<\/p>\n \u201cWhile it seems trivial, it\u2019s actually quite a bit of dedicated work for all that to be seamless for the user.
