Wolfenstein: The New Order<\/a> has been illegally downloaded over 100,000 times, according to TorrentFreak<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Despite its rather large size –\u00a043.65 GB to be exact – the game is near the top of most torrent sites.<\/p>\n

Wolfenstein the New Order received strong reviews from international critics<\/a>, and has done well on the international sales charts.<\/p>\n

Ubisoft – the team behind the not-so-smooth launch of Watch Dogs<\/a> – has previously stated that their titles face a 90% piracy rate<\/a>, while Valve say that piracy is\u00a0based on service issues<\/a>.<\/p>\n

While we won’t assert that this is 100,000 sales lost for developer MachineGames and Bethesda, it must still be seen as a blow to the teams who put a lot of effort into creating a decent game.<\/p>\n
