{"id":65821,"date":"2014-06-11T23:55:48","date_gmt":"2014-06-11T21:55:48","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/mygaming.co.za\/news\/?p=65821"},"modified":"2014-06-12T06:13:21","modified_gmt":"2014-06-12T04:13:21","slug":"e3s-best-sports-titles-put-on-show","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mygaming.co.za\/news\/business\/65821-e3s-best-sports-titles-put-on-show","title":{"rendered":"E3&#8217;s best sports titles put on show"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>As\u00a0EA was one of the first big names in gaming to showcase their upcoming titles at E3 on 9 June 2014, a lot of sports games were put on display.\u00a0Here is a roundup of what sports fans can look forward to in the coming months, with playable demos for some of the EA titles at E3 itself.<\/p>\n<p>The only omission from the otherwise sterling line up is NBA 2K15, which is made by 2K Games and will hopefully be showcased soon.<\/p>\n<h3 class=\"my-4\">Fifa 15<\/h3>\n<p>Fifa 15 launches for the PC, Xbox One, Xbox 360, PS3, PS4, PS Vita, Wii, and\u00a03DS in Europe on 25 September 2014. This year&#8217;s PC edition is the first to feature EA&#8217;s Ignite Engine.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/aL6YNpxcEus?rel=0\" width=\"600\" height=\"338\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<h3 class=\"my-4\">PGA Tour<\/h3>\n<p>Although the title is not as catchy since Tiger left, PGA Tour looks set to continue to lead the pack when it comes to golf games. PGA Tour will be available\u00a0for Xbox One and PlayStation 4 in 2015, and will utilise the Frostbite 3 Engine.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/fYcPfisx018?rel=0\" width=\"600\" height=\"338\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<h3 class=\"my-4\">EA Sports UFC<\/h3>\n<p>EA&#8217;s UFC is set to release for Xbox One and PlayStation 4 on 20 June 2014. I <a href=\"http:\/\/mygaming.co.za\/news\/features\/65523-ea-ufc-does-it-deliver-a-knockout-punch.html\">played the demo of the game<\/a>, and was impressed by its improvements in fluidity and gameplay compared to previous MMA titles. It&#8217;s still no Fight Night, though.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/_kuZm_lX_00?rel=0\" width=\"600\" height=\"338\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<h3 class=\"my-4\">Madden 15<\/h3>\n<p>It&#8217;s all about the defence in Madden 15, with the Football title set to put more focus on your big hits and safe tackles. The game is due out for PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, and Xbox One on 26 August 2014.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/C8V-UnPEhPw?rel=0\" width=\"600\" height=\"338\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<h3 class=\"my-4\">NHL 15<\/h3>\n<p>NHL is coming out for the\u00a0PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, and Xbox One on 9 September 2014. While ice-hockey is not the most popular game in SA, the trailer for NHL is impressive. Impressive enough to get you to buy a copy?
