{"id":65851,"date":"2014-06-10T19:19:52","date_gmt":"2014-06-10T17:19:52","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/mygaming.co.za\/news\/?p=65851"},"modified":"2014-06-10T19:23:02","modified_gmt":"2014-06-10T17:23:02","slug":"nintendo-execs-fist-fight-during-e3-presentation","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mygaming.co.za\/news\/nintendo\/65851-nintendo-execs-fist-fight-during-e3-presentation","title":{"rendered":"Nintendo execs fist-fight during E3 presentation"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Nintendo has just wrapped up their E3 2014 Direct presentation, and while it was jam-packed with game announcements and updates on works in progress, one of the highlights was certainly the epic battle between Reggie Fils-Aime, president of Nintendo America, and Satoru Iwata, CEO of Nintendo.<\/p>\n<p>The two executives faced off in a CGI fist-fight, and then took the brawl to the Wii U to introduce us to the new Super Smash Bros.<\/p>\n<p>Aside from a variety of Nintendo characters, the game will support Nintendo Mii avatars which means there will be a lot of variety in the fighting.<\/p>\n<p>Additionally, Nintendo revealed its merchandising plans &#8211; their new Amiibo figurines. Like Skylanders and Disney Infinity figurines, an NFC chip can be scanned into the Nintendo Wii U and that character will be added into the game.<\/p>\n<p>Sprinkled throughout the announcements were a bunch of Robot Chicken sketches involving Nintendo characters, which was a great laugh.
