We’ve seen Goat Simulator<\/a>, Bear Simulato<\/a>r, and Drowning Simulator<\/a>\u00a0– what animal\/item\/act simulator could follow that?<\/p>\n

Developer Strange Panther Games thinks it has the answer – Rock Simulator.<\/p>\n

The game is, as the title suggest, about a rock. Rock Simulator\u00a0is described on Steam<\/a> as a game which allows player to “watch beautiful rocks in any location in the world. From grass plains to salt flats, there are dozens of hand designed beautiful\u00a0environments”.<\/p>\n

“I saw that other simulation games, such as Goat Simulator, can be successful, so I thought that if a goat can be a good game, than a rock can be too!” Strange Panther developer, Ryan, told Polygon<\/a>.<\/p>\n

“I didn’t expect anything near the reaction it’s getting. It originally started as a joke, and now that we’ve seen the reaction, it’s a completely real game.”<\/p>\n

Rock Simulator is currently on Steam Greenlight, and is receiving a largely positive response from the community. In fact, 85% of the votes are in favour of the game.<\/p>\n

The game is due to launch for PC for free. A release date is yet to be decided.<\/p>\n
