{"id":67758,"date":"2014-08-08T10:56:50","date_gmt":"2014-08-08T08:56:50","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/mygaming.co.za\/news\/?p=67758"},"modified":"2014-08-08T10:59:55","modified_gmt":"2014-08-08T08:59:55","slug":"sierra-is-making-a-comeback","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mygaming.co.za\/news\/business\/67758-sierra-is-making-a-comeback","title":{"rendered":"Sierra is making a comeback"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Sierra &#8211; best known for their\u00a0seminal graphic adventure games such as\u00a0the Space Quest and Police Quest series [<em>and don&#8217;t forget they published Homeworld and F.E.A.R too -Ed<\/em>] &#8211; is\u00a0set to make a comeback at Gamescom 2014.<\/p>\n<p>According to a short video, posted below, and a <a href=\"http:\/\/www.sierra.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">new website<\/a>, the publisher is set to return following its absorption into its parent company &#8211; then Activision &#8211; in 2008.<\/p>\n<p>The video and website simply show the Sierra logo and the words &#8220;Gamescom 2014&#8221;, and all leads point towards Activision reactivating the brand. Gamescom takes place from 13 &#8211; 17 August 2014 in Germany.<\/p>\n<p>Since Activision took full control of Sierra they have done nothing with the label, and hopes are that\u00a0the\u00a0Gamescom reveal will be accompanied by some new game announcements.<\/p>\n<p>Maybe an HD remake of\u00a0Leisure Suit Larry to kick things off? [<em>Ugh.
