Firstly, an apology to the readers, in rearranging our structures the “best selling games” feature was lost and forgotten for a couple months, but I am glad to report that it is back and will once again be a monthly feature on the site.<\/p>\n

Market research company GfK recently sent us their sales hit list for SA retail, which reveals the top 5 bestselling games for PC and console for June 2014.\u00a0This includes both pre-orders and post-launch sales.<\/p>\n

GfK says it\u00a0covers around 90% of the SA gaming retail market, and 95% of the SA gaming consoles retail market.<\/p>\n

GfK also tracks online retailers, as well as both the physical and online sales of the retailers which have physical and online outlets.<\/p>\n

The stats presented are gathered on a monthly basis from the retailers with whom GfK is in partnership.<\/p>\n
