The Xbox One arrives in South Africa on 23 September 2014. For fans of the Microsoft console, the day could not come any sooner, as they have had to endure PS4 players enjoying their consoles for nine months now.<\/p>\n

The “Xbone” will come in two bundle options for local gamers: the standard 500GB console bundle, and the Kinect bundle. The latter is, essentially, the standard bundle with the Kinect sensor.<\/p>\n

The recommended retail price for the standard bundle is currently\u00a0R6,299, while the Kinect bundle is set to cost\u00a0R7,999.<\/p>\n

The good news is that both bundles come with two free games. Forza Horizon 5 and Fifa 15 for the standard bundle, and Fifa 15 and Dance Central Spotlight for the Kinect bundle (all digital copies).<\/p>\n
