Funny story: I was making my way home from the grocery store, having just acquired some fantastic fresh produce at a rather reasonable price. I boarded the bus that stops near my home, and couldn’t help but tap my foot excitedly as I hummed a happy little tune.<\/p>\n

You see, I had it in my mind that I was going to make a delicious vegetable quiche for dinner that night, so I was in a bit of a rush to get to the kitchen and start cooking.<\/p>\n

In my fevered haste, I stepped off the bus, and accidentally smashed into a dear little old lady who – as I found out later while filling out a police report – was on her way to visit her sick grandson in hospital.<\/p>\n

We collided in the most dramatic, slow-motion way possible – the impact knocked her false teeth straight out of her mouth and her powdered wig lifted a full 10 centimetres from her balding head as she flew back. Although I stood more rooted to the spot (much in thanks to my age advantage), my arms couldn’t help but flail, sending my shopping bag tumbling out of my hands.<\/p>\n

And that’s when I dropped the beets.<\/p>\n

Packing 500w of power and other features which are completely irrelevant, it does not really matter what PC Mag thought of the speakers – they cost R487,000.<\/p>\n

If it’s one thing I have learnt in life, it’s that owning 1.2m high speakers made of Diamond Glass automatically makes you better than everyone else.<\/p>\n
