{"id":68554,"date":"2014-09-08T11:00:20","date_gmt":"2014-09-08T09:00:20","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/mygaming.co.za\/news\/?p=68554"},"modified":"2014-09-08T11:03:32","modified_gmt":"2014-09-08T09:03:32","slug":"guardians-and-goals-games-you-can-play-this-week","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mygaming.co.za\/news\/features\/68554-guardians-and-goals-games-you-can-play-this-week","title":{"rendered":"Guardians and Goals &#8211; games you can play this week"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>And Activision said: &#8220;Let there be light.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>This week marks the arrival of one of the most hyped games of 2014 &#8211; Destiny.<\/p>\n<p>Having pre-ordered my copy and eagerly awaiting its arrival, I sincerely hope the title will not follow the same path as a certain open-world, hacking game recently released with similar fanfare.<\/p>\n<p>Until then, here are the games you can play this week.<\/p>\n<h3 class=\"my-4\">Destiny<\/h3>\n<p>Destiny releases for the PS4, PS3, Xbox One, and Xbox 360 on 9 September 2014. Obviously, the physical copies for the Xbox One will only be available after the console launches locally on 23 September.<\/p>\n<p>The game from Activision and Bungie is being hyped as a possible game of the year contender, with its fusion of FPS; RPG; open, dynamic worlds; inter-planetary travel; and co-op elements set to keep gamers busy for a while.<\/p>\n<p>In terms of deciding whether the game has\u00a0lived up to all expectations, we need your help.
