{"id":69001,"date":"2014-09-23T14:25:01","date_gmt":"2014-09-23T12:25:01","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/mygaming.co.za\/news\/?p=69001"},"modified":"2014-09-23T14:30:03","modified_gmt":"2014-09-23T12:30:03","slug":"playstation-4-free-games-and-plus-subscription","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mygaming.co.za\/news\/playstation\/69001-playstation-4-free-games-and-plus-subscription","title":{"rendered":"PlayStation 4 &#8211; free games and PS Plus weekend"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Sony and Microsoft are trying to seduce gamers who are looking to upgrade from their last-gen console hell, and aren&#8217;t pulling any punches to do so.<\/p>\n<p>Anticipating\u00a0the <a href=\"http:\/\/mygaming.co.za\/news\/xbox\/68939-microsoft-south-africa-launches-the-xbox-one.html\">launch of the Xbox One in South Africa<\/a>, Sony has put together a couple of deals to entice gamers to buy its console &#8211; or at least give it a go.<\/p>\n<p>First off, online multiplayer features normally restricted to PlayStation Plus subscribers will be open to all PS4 gamers over the weekend of 26-29 September 2014. From this Friday at 09:00 until Monday at 09:00, you can go online and see what you have\/have not been missing out on.<\/p>\n<p>No sign up is required.<\/p>\n<p>For those without a console, Sony is offering the PlayStation 4 standard bundle plus a free game for R6,299 for a limited time. There are two variations of this deal:<\/p>\n<p>First up is the PS4 and The Last of Us: Remastered, which is available until 5 October 2014.
