Visceral, the team behind the latest iteration in the Battlefield franchise, has promised that Hardline will stand out as a game and hold its own when compared to its predecessor, Battlefield 4.<\/p>\n
Battlefield Hardline is due to be released for PC, Xbox 360, Xbox One, PS3, and PS4 in February 2015, after\u00a0its creators recently announced the game would be delayed<\/a>.<\/p>\n In a YouTube interview – which is posted below –\u00a0Visceral Games creative director Steve Papoutsis said Hardline is a very different game to BF4, thanks to its five new game modes.<\/p>\n “These are very unique and never been seen in Battlefield before,” he said. One of the new modes is Hotwire, where gamers are involved in a high-speed car chases in an attempt to repossess certain vehicles.<\/p>\n Other modes include:<\/p>\n Visceral has also promised a rich single-player story, where you take on the role of a cop who is tasked with kicking bad-guy ass.<\/p>\n The campaign will be “very different than anything you’ve seen in Battlefield before”, with the story set to unfold like a “TV show”.<\/p>\n “Overall, I feel like what we’re creating is a significant entry for the franchise, and we hope people see it that way,” he said.<\/p>\n Watch the full interview with\u00a0Visceral Games creative director Steve Papoutsis in the video below.<\/p>\n\n
