Following the substantial price increase of PlayStation Plus subscriptions<\/a>\u00a0in South Africa, gamers will be hoping for some stellar free games in October.<\/p>\n

As being objective and neutral is a prerequisite in journalism (or at least an ideal to strive for), I will not pass comment on the free games on offer and rather let you be the judge. All games are set to become available from 8 October 2014.<\/p>\n

Coming to the PlayStation 4<\/strong> this month is Driveclub<\/strong> PlayStation Plus Edition which includes 11 tracks and 10 cars;\u00a0the hand-painted-looking game Dust: An Elysian Tail<\/strong>; and platformer Spelunky<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

PlayStation 3<\/strong> owners will receive Batman: Arkham Asylum<\/strong>, and Dungeons & Dragons: Chronicles of Mystara<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Finally, PS Vita<\/strong> players are set to get Pix the Cat<\/strong> – an arcade game – and RPG Rainbow Moon<\/strong>.<\/p>\n
