eBay – the site for selling old shoes, rare lamps…and R1.8 million video game collections.<\/p>\n

A new listing on the site<\/a>\u00a0by reel.big.fish is one of the most impressive video game collections I have seen in my short career, and consists of over 5,700 games.<\/p>\n

The big fish seems to be quite the Nintendo fan, with the collection consisting of nearly every game released by Nintendo between 1985 and 2000. There are also 50 systems up for grabs, including every colour variant of the Nintendo 64.<\/p>\n

No bids were disclosed at the time of writing – the requested price was $164,000 – and the seller did note that most games were “used”, but in “excellent to mint condition”.<\/p>\n

“I’ve always replaced lesser quality titles with higher quality titles as I received them,” the seller said. “So you are getting my master set.”<\/p>\n

While most of the titles can be classified as “retro Nintendo”, the collection also consists of PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, Wii U, and 3DS systems and games. No PS4 and Xbox One, though.<\/p>\n

For those of you who miss the good old days, there is even a\u00a0Sega Dreamcast and Nintendo Virtual Boy.<\/p>\n
