rAge 2014 has officially kicked off, with thousands of gaming enthusiasts – some of which have certainly called in a Friday sick day – packing The Dome in Johannesburg.<\/p>\n

2014 marks the 12th rAge, which is scheduled to take place from 10 – 12 October 2014. Last year’s event attracted a record 32,626 visitors, and this year similar number are expected.<\/p>\n

Besides the 95 exhibitors displaying their wares, rAge will also play host to the NAG LAN, which is expected to attract 2,500 PC gamers and their beloved rigs.<\/p>\n

Internet connectivity to The Dome is being supplied by Internet Solutions, who has set up 4Gbps of bandwidth to keep gamers connected.<\/p>\n
