To mark the release of the\u00a0Guinness World Records 2015 Gamer\u2019s Edition, the publication has released a gamer-based “top 50 games of all time” list.<\/p>\n

Guinness surveyed 5,000 gamers from 140 countries, a respectable sample size, simply asking them what their favourite game was.<\/p>\n

Call of Duty took top spot, followed by\u00a0Super Mario Bros., Minecraft, Grand Theft Auto, Halo, and The Legend of Zelda.<\/p>\n

MyGaming conducted its own “greatest game ever made<\/a>” poll a few months back which revealed Super Mario Bros. as a favourite among South Africans.<\/p>\n

Half-Life came second, followed by Half-Life 2, StarCraft, and Diablo 2.<\/p>\n
