The Sempron 145 will sell for a around &euro;35 (R333), making it a super cheap offering that would suit basic computational tasks well, or even supply the brain for a lightweight media PC (just don&rsquo;t expect to do any serious video encoding with it).<\/p>\n<p>More exciting is the new Phenom II X2 560 Black Edition. This Callisto-based dual core is the highest clocked AMD dual-core CPU yet released, packing a hefty 3.3GHz on each core. Priced at just &euro;100 (R950), it may represent a solid value offering for gamers with its unlocked multiplier and anticipated overclocking headroom.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The top of the range is also looking to be broadened with a new six-core monster; the 1075T which is based on the Thuban core and is clocked at a relatively meagre 3.0GHz.
