A new month means two things: debit orders and MyGaming’s best-selling games in SA article.<\/p>\n

Market research company GfK recently sent us its\u00a0sales hit list for SA retail, which reveals the top 5 best-selling games for PC and console for October\u00a02014. This includes both pre-orders and post-launch sales.<\/p>\n

GfK says it covers around 90% of the SA gaming retail market, and 95% of the SA gaming consoles retail market.<\/p>\n

GfK also tracks online retailers, as well as both the physical and online sales of the retailers which have physical and online outlets.<\/p>\n

The stats presented are gathered on a monthly basis from the retailers with whom GfK is in partnership.<\/p>\n

To all the readers who are going to complain that the figures do not take Steam sales into account, there is not much we can do about that – Valve keeps its\u00a0cards quite close to its chest.<\/p>\n
