{"id":71351,"date":"2015-01-13T14:06:53","date_gmt":"2015-01-13T12:06:53","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/mygaming.co.za\/news\/?p=71351"},"modified":"2015-01-13T14:08:31","modified_gmt":"2015-01-13T12:08:31","slug":"forza-6-is-coming-and-it-has-the-new-ford-gt","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mygaming.co.za\/news\/xbox\/71351-forza-6-is-coming-and-it-has-the-new-ford-gt","title":{"rendered":"Forza 6 is coming, and it has the new Ford GT"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Just one day after it&#8217;s real-world reveal, Ford&#8217;s sexy new-look GT will not only be featured in Forza 6, but it&#8217;s going to be the game&#8217;s poster child.<\/p>\n<p>Microsoft announced today that the world will be getting Forza 6, exclusively on Xbox One.<\/p>\n<p>Alongside the new Ford GT, the game will also feature the also-just-revealed Shelby GT350 Mustang and the F-150 Raptor.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cJust as Ford has pushed the boundaries of car technology in GT, Forza Motorsport 6 will embrace that spirit of innovation as our most technically advanced racing simulation to date,&#8221; said Dan Greenawalt, creative director at Turn 10 Studios.<\/p>\n<p>Gameplay is expected to be shown off at E3 2015.<\/p>\n<p>You can check out the brief reveal trailer below, which shows off the Ford GT in real world, and (apparently) in-engine glory. To be honest, I can barely tell the difference.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/o1djJDaPsno\" width=\"600\" height=\"338\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>Forza has come a long way from the days of &#8220;Gran Turismo for the Xbox&#8221;, having become a whole beast of a series on its own.<\/p>\n<p>Forza developers Turn 10 Studios manage to pump out a new title every 2 years or so (not including the Forza Horizon &#8216;spin-off&#8217;), while GT developers Polyphony Digital don&#8217;t really stick to any sort of predictable schedule.<\/p>\n<p>Of course, the comparisons between the two games will always be there, and with GT7 confirmed for a rather vague 2015\/2016 release, they&#8217;re unlikely to stop any time soon.<\/p>\n<p>So which console exclusive is the best for motorheads with a penchant for pixellated eye-gasms?
