Now that we are all getting back to work, it is time to talk about writing cheques and snapping necks – game sales.<\/p>\n

Market research company GfK recently sent us its\u00a0sales hit list for SA retail, which reveals the top 5 best-selling games for PC and console for November\u00a02014. This includes both pre-orders and post-launch sales.<\/p>\n

GfK says it covers around 90% of the SA gaming retail market, and 95% of the SA gaming consoles retail market.<\/p>\n

GfK also tracks online retailers, as well as both the physical and online sales of the retailers which have physical and online outlets.<\/p>\n

The stats presented are gathered on a monthly basis from the retailers with whom GfK is in partnership.<\/p>\n

And no, it does not include Steam sales. Steam is\u00a0not fond of releasing retail statistics – sorry.<\/p>\n
