{"id":71451,"date":"2015-01-16T14:09:18","date_gmt":"2015-01-16T12:09:18","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/mygaming.co.za\/news\/?p=71451"},"modified":"2015-01-16T14:10:36","modified_gmt":"2015-01-16T12:10:36","slug":"just-pirate-the-game-no-need-to-pay-us","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mygaming.co.za\/news\/business\/71451-just-pirate-the-game-no-need-to-pay-us","title":{"rendered":"Just pirate the game, no need to pay us"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Hotline Miami 2: Wrong Number has been refused classification in Australia, in effect resulting in the game being banned from the land down under.<\/p>\n<p>But that has not put a dampener on developer\u00a0Dennaton Games&#8217;s spirits, with the company telling Australian gamers they can just pirate the title.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIf it ends up being not released in Australia, just pirate it after release,\u201d designer Jonatan S\u00f6derstr\u00f6m wrote in an email to a fan.\u00a0\u201cNo need to send us any money, just enjoy the game!\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Publisher\u00a0Devolver Digital has elected not to censor the game or challenge the Australian Classification Board\u2019s decision, so it looks like circumventing traditional sales channels may have to take place.<\/p>\n<p>For you South African gamers, I recommended spending some of your hard-earned money on this title.
