According to Pornhub’s Year in Review study, local porn watchers searched for “South African” the most in 2014.<\/p>\n

The inclination towards “local is lekker” jumped significantly from 2013, rising 29 places to reach the top.<\/p>\n

The second most popular search term was “cartoon” (probably all those Wii U owners), with the classic “lesbian” category (13-year-old Call of Duty players, for sure) coming in third.<\/p>\n

SA’s most popular porn star – and I use that term loosely – in 2014 was Kim Kardashian.<\/p>\n

Other interesting statistics from the study show that 60% of traffic to the site came from phones, 29% from PCs, and 11% from tablets. That means 71% of South Africans are watching porn on portable devices – probably in the cubicle next to you while you read this article.<\/p>\n

Sisters did it for themselves last year, with the proportion of female viewers sitting at 32%.<\/p>\n

The most popular day for a spot of porn? Sunday. The least popular holiday for the digital entertainment – New Year’s Eve.<\/p>\n
