Local game developer Red Dot Lab is up for the GameMaker Showcase Game of the Year 2014 award for its\u00a0fantastically fun 2D retro dogfighting mobile game\u00a0Blazin\u2019 Aces<\/a>.<\/p>\n

More importantly, a MyGaming forumite and his team are up for an award for a sweet little game they made and released on the iOS, Android, and Windows Phone app stores.<\/p>\n

Though some may know\u00a0him as Duncan Bell<\/a>, we know him as Terak.<\/p>\n

Terak\u2019s been relatively quiet on the forums lately, but since he\u2019s been working on turning his browser game into a fully-fledged mobile game, we\u2019ll let it slide.<\/p>\n

Blazin\u2019 Aces released in May 2014 and became YoYo Games\u2019 game of the month winner in June 2014. This has put it in the running for the GameMaker Showcase Game of the Year 2014.<\/p>\n

To vote for Blazin\u2019 Aces (or another game you think deserves your vote more, you traitor), head to the YoYo Games website<\/a>, click on the relevant vote button, enter one of your e-mail addresses, and solve the Captcha.<\/p>\n

The winner will be announced after voting closes at 13:00 on 2\u00a0February 2015.<\/p>\n
