The USB dongle allows owners to copy and play Blu-ray disc content from their PlayStation HDDs, ending the console&rsquo;s bold and unprecedented four-year siege against piracy.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>But it doesn&rsquo;t take long for the pirates to pirate the pirates, and with a yo-ho-ho and a bottle of triple distilled irony, it looks like the manufacturers of the PS Jailbreak have already been jolly rogered. The website now warns customers to &ldquo;Beware of imitators and Chinese knockoffs&rdquo;, that the PS Jailbreak is the &ldquo;original solution&rdquo;, and to make sure the retailer has an &ldquo;authorised logo&rdquo;. Authorised to scam the gaming industry out of millions of dollars, that is.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>According to <a href=\"http:\/\/www.eurogamer.net\/articles\/digitalfoundry-vs-psjailbreak-article\" target=\"_blank\">Digital Foundry<\/a>, the mod is an ostensibly simple bit of hardware &ndash; a 48-pin microcontroller chip on a USB board &ndash; with an additional software layer, already distributed all over the internet.
