When we write about powerful laptops on MyGaming you can bet your house on someone, somewhere, mentioning Aorus and its portable PCs.<\/p>\n

After a year of reading about the local love for Aorus, I decided it was time we find out what all the fuss is about.<\/p>\n

So, is a high-end Aorus gaming laptop really the best portable gaming has to offer? Let’s take a look at what it’s packing.<\/p>\n

Aorus X7 Pro<\/h3>\n

A quick online search led me to this beauty – the Aorus X7 Pro<\/a><\/strong> (or V3, depending on which site you visit.)<\/p>\n

The X7 is available locally for R32,000<\/a><\/strong>, which is a a hell of a lot of money, but you definitely get what you pay for.<\/p>\n

Besides the usual laptop necessities – built-in speakers, HD webcam, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and\u00a0Gigabit LAN, and USB ports – the X7 sports an Intel i7, 16GB RAM, and 256GB of SSD storage.<\/p>\n

Oh, and a decent graphics solution… two 3GB Nvidai GeForce GTX 970m chips running in SLI.<\/p>\n
