{"id":7260,"date":"2010-08-25T10:12:00","date_gmt":"2010-08-25T08:12:00","guid":{"rendered":""},"modified":"-0001-11-30T00:00:00","modified_gmt":"-0001-11-29T22:00:00","slug":"torchlight-headed-to-xbox-live-and-playstation-network","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mygaming.co.za\/news\/business\/7260-torchlight-headed-to-xbox-live-and-playstation-network","title":{"rendered":"Torchlight headed to Xbox Live and PlayStation Network"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Runic games told <a href=\"http:\/\/www.joystiq.com\/2010\/08\/21\/torchlight-hopefully-out-on-xbla-and-psn-by-holidays-has-sold\/\" target=\"_blank\">Joystiq<\/a>&nbsp;that it is in the process of bringing its sleeper hit PC RPG Torchlight to consoles.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Speaking at Gamecom, Runic&#8217;s Max Schaefer said that although there is no current release window, they are hoping to get it out by &ldquo;the holidays.&rdquo; We&rsquo;re going to assume he is referring to the December holidays.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>In the same talk Schaefer declared that Runic has sold over 750,000 units, and has the 1 million mark firmly in its sights.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Torchlight is a basic hack &lsquo;n slash RPG that was released towards the end of 2009. It won gamers and critics alike over with its old school gameplay, cartoony visuals, and low price point.
