Mafia II takes place in the fictional city of Empire Bay between 1943 and 1957. The player will step into the shoes of Vito Scarleta, from his early days as a petty criminal, to his time as a soldier in WWII Sicily, and back to Empire Bay, where he embarks on an epic tale set against the backdrop of the Mafia gangsterism we are all familiar with. <\/p>\n
The action takes place from a third person perspective, and makes use of a familiar cover-to-cover combat mechanic, and a gorgeously realised open-world city. <\/p>\n
