Market research company GfK has released its latest sales stats for the SA game market.<\/p>\n

The sales figures from January 2015 reveal the\u00a0top 5 best-selling games for PC and console, and\u00a0includes both pre-orders and post-launch sales.<\/p>\n

GfK says it covers around 90% of the SA gaming retail market, and 95% of the SA gaming consoles retail market.<\/p>\n

GfK also tracks online retailers, as well as both the physical and online sales of the retailers which have physical and online outlets. This does not include Steam sales.<\/p>\n

The stats presented are gathered on a monthly basis from the retailers with whom GfK is in partnership.<\/p>\n
