Eagle Eye manufacturer Penguin United first introduced the Eagle Eye Converter at E3 2010, and it received quite a bit of attention, being the first product able to turn any old mouse and keyboard into a PS3 control system.<\/p>\n

Penguin has announced that the Eagle Eye has launched and is available for purchase from the Penguin United<\/a> website for US$59.99. That works out to ±R445. The device will be available through online retailers such as Amazon, who currently list no price and availability info for the product.<\/p>\n

The Eagle-Eye converts any standard USB HID keyboard and mouse into a controller for the Sony PlayStation 3 video game console. The Eagle-Eye Converter provides a customized key mapping feature for all PS3 controller buttons that seamlessly transfers the command data to a keyboard and mouse. <\/p>\n

This should in theory lend a greater deal of accuracy and dexterity to gamers playing FPS titles.<\/p>\n

The Eagle Eye is equipped with its own CPU, which helps to keep mouse movement fluid with no delay and no “dead-zone”.<\/p>\n
