Promise is the key word here.<\/p><\/div>\n<p>CD Projekt RED, in their description of the expansions, hints at the return of old characters sorely missed; we wonder who\u2019s missing from <em>The Witcher 3<\/em>? Might we see the return of characters from the original <em>The Witcher<\/em>? You can also expect the usual expansion paraphernalia: new pieces of equipment, stories, sinister enemies, characters and so on.<\/p>\n<p>What we want to know now is where in the timeline of this latest game these two expansions come in. With <em>The Witcher 3\u2019s<\/em> promise of a grand conclusion to the story, surely the expansions aren\u2019t set following said conclusion. It\u2019s all very curious.<\/p>\n<p><em>Hearts of Stone<\/em> is expected to hit in October of this year and <em>Blood and Wine<\/em> should premier in the first quarter of 2016.
