{"id":74203,"date":"2015-04-14T16:00:45","date_gmt":"2015-04-14T14:00:45","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/mygaming.co.za\/news\/?p=74203"},"modified":"2015-04-15T06:32:49","modified_gmt":"2015-04-15T04:32:49","slug":"abes-exoddus-to-receive-the-same-re-release-treatment-as-new-n-tasty","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mygaming.co.za\/news\/business\/74203-abes-exoddus-to-receive-the-same-re-release-treatment-as-new-n-tasty","title":{"rendered":"Abe&#8217;s Exoddus to receive the same re-release treatment as New &#8216;n&#8217; Tasty"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Thanks to the critical as well as financial success of <em>Oddworld: New \u2018n\u2019 Tasty<\/em>, a ground-up remake of <em>Abe\u2019s Oddysee<\/em>, we may very well see a re-release of <em>Abe\u2019s Exoddus<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>The news was announced over on <a href=\"http:\/\/www.oddworld.com\/2015\/04\/a-storm-is-brewing-abes-exoddus-remake-planned\/\">Oddworld.com<\/a>], following a few hints at the remake by Lorne Lanning himself on a <a href=\"http:\/\/www.twitch.tv\/kindafunnygames\/v\/4026689?\">Kinda Funny Games Twitch stream<\/a> the day before. We somewhat expected a remake of <em>Abe\u2019s Exoddus<\/em>, but it\u2019s always nice to have an official announcement.<\/p>\n<p>Set to receive the same treatment as <em>New \u2018n\u2019 Tasty<\/em>, and so likely to receive a moniker update, this new Abe\u2019s Exoddus HD is an exciting prospect. If you haven\u2019t figured it out yet, <em>Abe\u2019s Oddysee<\/em> was done a lot of justice by the visual and mechanical updates of <em>New \u2018n\u2019 Tasty<\/em>. It\u2019s a game you definitely shouldn\u2019t miss out on.<\/p>\n<p>We wonder: should <em>Abe\u2019s Exoddus <\/em>do well enough, could we expect <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Oddworld:_Munch%27s_Oddysee\"><em>Munch\u2019s Oddysee<\/em><\/a> and <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Oddworld:_Stranger%27s_Wrath\"><em>Stranger\u2019s Wrath<\/em><\/a> re-releases? We doubt it.
