Far Cry<\/em> originally proved that Crytek had the knowhow to produce a highly technical and impressive engine, as well as a great game to boot. And then along came Crysis<\/em>.<\/p>\n

Crysis at maximum settings was a testament to Crytek’s ambition.<\/p><\/div>\n

\u201cBut can it play Crysis<\/em>?\u201d and \u201cWhat settings can you play Crysis <\/em>on?\u201d became pretty standard fair for any and all discussions regarding PC technology, and for a long period of time too. There was a simple reason for that trend: Crysis<\/em> was easily, and by a long way, the best looking and most demanding game ever released. Some 8 years later, it still looks better than most games of today. From that moment on, Crytek established themselves as the kings of graphical clout, at least for PC gamers.<\/p>\n

This Crytek produced virtual reality (VR) demo is a full length, direct-feed version of the demo shown off at the Game Developer\u2019s Conference earlier this year. For those VR junkies out there, this demo was produced for Oculus\u2019 Crescent Bay prototype and not the Oculus Rift. The Crescent Bay prototype has yet to be shown off to the public. Still, this dino demo is mighty impressive.<\/p>\n
