Koji Igarashi<\/a>, director for some of the best Castlevania <\/em>games in the franchise, was fed up with being side-lined and generally ignored by the heads at Konami, and looked to a former employee of Capcom for inspiration.<\/p>\n

Keiji Inafune<\/a>, director for a number of Mega Man <\/em>titles, among many others, found himself in the same situation at Capcom, and left as a result. Subsequently, he used Kickstarter to crowdfund Might No. 9<\/em><\/a>, a Mega Man <\/em>game in every sense, except for its name<\/p>\n

Wanting to following in Inafune\u2019s footsteps, Igarashi has told Konami to stick it where the sun don\u2019t shine, and left.<\/p>\n

He\u2019s also done much the same thing as with Mighty No. 9<\/a><\/em> and has started a Kickstarter campaign for Castlevania<\/em> clone Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night<\/a><\/em>.<\/p>\n
