Forget load shedding, this week it\u2019s all about being angry at Sanral and the government over e-tolls.<\/p>\n

Our deputy president recently announced massive price cuts\u00a0for motorists using the e-toll routes in Gauteng, and big discount for those who have outstanding bills.<\/p>\n

Not a cool move if you have diligently paid your e-toll bills up until now \u2013 you are\u00a0effectively being\u00a0punished for being a good boy or girl.<\/p>\n

I saw this coming, and that is why I have not paid a single e-toll yet. I also foresee additional\u00a0reductions in the near future, which means I won\u2019t be paying this time around either.<\/p>\n

Potentially linking my licence renewal to my outstanding e-toll bills does not scare me either \u2013 by the time they integrate\u00a0the necessary systems (following 18 IT tenders), I will have retired in the south of France.<\/p>\n

Rather take your e-toll money and spend it on this week\u2019s best tech deals.<\/p>\n
