{"id":77230,"date":"2015-06-15T11:00:03","date_gmt":"2015-06-15T09:00:03","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/mygaming.co.za\/news\/?p=77230"},"modified":"2015-06-15T13:35:12","modified_gmt":"2015-06-15T11:35:12","slug":"doom-first-gameplay-released","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mygaming.co.za\/news\/business\/77230-doom-first-gameplay-released","title":{"rendered":"Doom: first gameplay released"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"color: #333333;\">This week, the biggest gaming expo in the world is taking place, as E3 provides the platform for developers and publishers to showcase what gamers are in store for in the next year or so.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #333333;\">Bethesda got things off with a bang today, giving us a look at id Software&#8217;s <em>Doom<\/em> reboot, which is gory, loud, brutal and gorgeous &#8211; exactly what we&#8217;ve been hoping for.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #333333;\"><em>Doom<\/em> maintains so much of what we know and love about the franchise: grimy metal corridors, all manner of hellish demons eager to hasten your demise and an arsenal of firearms and other fun weapons to let you make quick work of them.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/TpQHo8HOqeY\" width=\"600\" height=\"338\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #333333;\">As you&#8217;ll see in the trailer below, <em>Doom<\/em> revels in its intense violence, and Bethesda showed off several amusingly disturbing chainsaw takedowns, painful finishers and some immense firepower. It&#8217;s gross.
