According to Naughty Dog’s and all-round famous voice actor Nolan North, a sequel to\u00a0The Last of Us<\/em> is in production.<\/p>\n

North is well-known for his role in Uncharted’s<\/em> Nathan Drake. He was recently asked if he was working on any Naughty Dog\u00a0projects following\u00a0Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End<\/em>.<\/p>\n

He recently said, “For now, [Uncharted 4] is the last one, I know they’re doing The Last of Us 2, but my character in The Last of Us… untimely demise.<\/em>”<\/p>\n

North is obviously talking about his The Last of Us<\/em> character,\u00a0David, the\u00a0leader of a group of survivors in the game.<\/p>\n

However, Troy Baker, another famous voice actor and\u00a0Joel in The Last of Us<\/em>, has said he “knows nothing” about a follow-up to the game.<\/p>\n

Although Baker did\u00a0discuss his thoughts on a potential sequel.<\/p>\n

Baker had this to say, “I don’t know if we’re going to do another one or not,” “If we do, I trust Neil [Druckmann, creative director] and Bruce [Straley, game director], and everyone at Naughty Dog to tell a story that needs to be told.<\/em>”<\/p>\n

Both Druckmann and Straley are currently in charge of development for\u00a0Uncharted 4<\/em>.<\/p>\n

After\u00a0the release of The Last of Us<\/em>, Druckmann has been quoted as saying there is\u00a0a “50\/50” chance for a sequel.<\/p>\n

Whether a\u00a0The Last of Us\u00a0<\/em>sequel will make it to the light of day is difficult to ascertain at this point of time.<\/p>\n

We just think it would be very cool to explore that world again, and mow down a few zombies.<\/p>\n
