Having long left last year\u2019s Dota 2<\/em> The International 2014 prize pool in the dust, this year\u2019s Dota 2<\/em> The International 2015\u2019s prize pool<\/a> has reached an absurd $15 million (R185 million), or exactly $15, 099, 255 at the time of writing.<\/p>\n

That puts The International 2015\u2019s prize pool ahead of events like the 2015 Cricket World Cup, the Golf Masters Tournament and very nearly everything else.<\/p>\n

Just as a point of reference, the largest League of Legends<\/em> and Call of Duty<\/em> championships, at just over $2 million and $1 million respectively, don\u2019t even come close.<\/p>\n
